DELIVERY SCHEDULES
These are normal delivery times, however if you need something on a more urgent basis please email us and we will advise of availability. We will try to accommodate all reasonable requests – there may be an additional charge for this depending on the item ordered.
Delivery
Postage can be based on first class standard (non-recorded) delivery. If this option is chosen and the shipment is then lost it will be the customers responsibility to make a claim to Royal Mail. Spencer Becks accepts no liability for items lost using this mode of delivery. Spencer Becks recommends recorded delivery (UK). This system allows for the electronic tracking of all items dispatched. Multiple purchases of items will be delivered in one order and if necessary will be held until all items are available. Please note that any goods found to be faulty upon receipt will be replaced, however time must be allowed for the returned goods to arrive back to us before replacement goods are dispatched. If you have an urgent request or need an item delivering by a specific time please email us with the details.
Delivery Charges
We do endeavour to keep delivery charges to a minimum. The website will automatically calculate the charges based on the weight and area of delivery. These charges can be seen at all time in your “shopping basket”.
Multiple Purchases
As the costs of delivery are calculated on the weight of your order, multiple item orders will be despatched when the order is complete. If you require certain items earlier please order them separately. All schedules are given for guidance only, although we do generally delivery well within these guidelines. Please note that once an item has been despatched, we cannot be held responsible for delivery times/delivery.
Rush Orders
All rush orders must be placed by telephone on 01773 822206. We will advise if delivery can be made within your timeframes. There may be an additional charge for rush delivery (this will depend on the item ordered).
Address Requirements
We will not, under any circumstances, ship to a P.O. Box Number. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery address given is a deliverable one. If a flat or apartment, then the flat number and building number must be clearly stated. An email address is essential so that we can:
a) Confirm your order and expected delivery date
b) Keep in touch with you regarding your order
Non Deliverable Items
If any item fails to be delivered because of a fault given in the address submitted on order, shipping costs will not be reimbursed, and we will not be held accountable for late delivery. Re-shipping charges will be charged to the client before the goods are re-despatched. Also where incorrect address’ are submitted and the goods are lost no refund or replacement will be considered unless the goods are returned to us.
Customs/Import Duties
Any duties payable are the sole responsibility of the client.Spencer Becks will not pay any fees relating to import tariffs. Further no refunds will be issued due to the client refusing to pay the custom/import duties.
Returns Policy
Please check your items carefully upon receipt and report any problems to us on info@spencerbecks.co.uk. The cost of returning the goods lies with the client, unless they are faulty. Please allow 28 days from receipt of returned goods for replacement goods to be re-shipped. No refunds or exchanges will be given for goods that have been worn, damaged or soiled.
How to Return an Item
Goods must be re-packaged in the original packaging. Please enclose a note advising what the problem is and if you require a replacement or a refund. Please send your item via recorded delivery, so you have proof of despatch, to:
